@the_sarahe MAGEC RODS! Did you know they existed?? Please please spread awareness about these to your coworkers!! I am realizing that not everyone knew these existed. I have known techs to serk off orthopedic spine hardware because most of it is MRI conditional on normal operating mode but there are some outliers that require less then 2.0 W/kg WB SAR & MAGEC rods are one of them! These rods also require that we wheel the patient in flat on a stretcher into zone 4. Meaning we load the patient onto the stretcher in zone 3 and then wheel them into zone 4 (the MRI room) supine.
